Dr. Barbara Tomlinson is a partner at the Cat Clinic of Cornwall.

Dr. Tomlinson received a Bachelor of Business Administration with honours from Wilfrid Laurier University. She worked in the accounting field for several years before deciding on a career change and attending the University of Guelph in 2004.

Dr. Tomlinson was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with Honours at the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2010. Dr. Tomlinson’s professional interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, opthalmology and dermatology.

When not at work, she enjoys cycling, camping, working out at the gym, and spending time with her three dogs: Katie,  Lexi and Dakota.

Dr. Natasha Smith is our newest associate veterinarian. She graduated with Honours from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario in April 2016, and joined the Cat Clinic of Cornwall team in May of 2016.


Prior to attending the Ontario Veterinary College, Dr. Smith attained a Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Biology and a Masters in Biomedical Sciences in Reproductive Biology at the University of Guelph.

Dr. Smith has many interests including internal medicine, endocrinology, ultrasonography, and surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys travelling, heading to the mountains to go skiing with her husband, Stephan, or trying to tire out their hyper JRT, Josie.

Dr. Alexis Smith is the newest associate veterinarian at the St. Lawrence Valley Animal Hospital. She graduated with distinction from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at the University of Edinburgh in June 2018. Dr. Smith joined the team at the St. Lawrence Valley Animal Hospital in July 2018.

Dr. Smith enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with particular interest in the client/animal bond, dermatology, and internal medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys traveling with friends and family, a good book, trying out new recipes, writing (fiction), and trail walking. At the current time, Dr. Smith has no pets, but she is looking forward to expanding her family and adding a cute and curious cat to the household.

Dr. Adnan El-Korchi is a partner at the Cat Clinic of Cornwall. Dr. El-Korchi is a native of Morocco and is fluent in French and English.

Dr. El-Korchi attended Cornell University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with Honours at the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2002.

Dr El-Korchi’s professional interests include endoscopy, dentistry, eye surgery, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery.

When he’s not at work, Dr. El-Korchi enjoys fishing, soccer and spending time with his wife, Samar, and his three daughters: Aya, Lina and Layla.
